The Port Authority

in Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida sought after a work of art that would serve also as a way-finding tool to help passengers navigate the cruise terminal.

MGA’s solution was both elegant and functional: the stylized rays appear almost abstract as they float along the wall, illuminating the path and guiding passengers towards their departure destination while providing visual interest and variety.

We collaborated with painter and electrical engineer Carrie Jadus to develop the concept and see the project through to fruition.
