MGA created this series of five runners for Legends Plaza in Kansas City, Kansas. This sculpture series pays tribute to the world’s record holding runners who hail from Kansas, and represents the figures in various stages of the race. These sculptures capture the essence of the athletes in action, stylizing and illustrating the amazing physicality built by the sport.

By exposing the anatomy of these figures in motion, viewers bear witness to the muscles exercised in running. Their anonymous features allow the viewer to see themselves in these athletes.
