Fabricator/ Artist

Tyler Houston has worked as a Fabricator at MGA Sculpture Studio for almost 10 years. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Southern Utah University with emphasis on Studio Ceramics.

After College Tyler completed a two year Artist-in-Residency at the Morean Center for Clay in Saint Petersburg, Florida. During his residency he used wood and soda atmospheric kilns to highlight his man made and weathered aesthetic pieces. Currently his work has shifted to using bright colors and playful narratives using an electric kiln. Tyler uses his skills and high expectations of craftmanship to help MGA fabricate and manifest public art Nationally.
