Shop Manager/ Lead Fabricator/ Artist

George Retkes is MGA’s lead fabricator and shop manager. Retkes has an art degree from the prestigious Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. Before joining MGA, he ran Ringling’s casting department and was a master home renovator for his family’s business as well as heavy equipment specialist for Home Depot. Since 2015, Retkes has been fabricating for MGA, and is currently the shop manager and head builder, leading a team of 2-4 makers in all of MGA’s projects.
